Sixteen pieces, each made by the same pair of hands.

Roseland’s dinnerware collection is designed and made in partnership with New York Stoneware. Will Reardon throws, trims, and glazes every piece in his Bedford, New York studio. No molds are used. Each sixteen-piece set includes four of each form: soup bowls, pasta bowls, dinner plates, and dessert plates.

The forms draw on nineteenth-century American slipware, with generous proportions, substantial weight, and an emphasis on everyday use. Will works toward the same silhouette each time, shaping each curve, wall, and rim by hand. An ivory glaze then covers the dark clay, varying in appearance with its thickness and the surface beneath it.

The result is a visual tension between the goal of consistency and the natural imperfections of handwork. Slight variations in form and glaze change how each piece catches the light, giving the set table a richness that exact repetition cannot. This is what we wanted to achieve: pieces that belong together, yet are never exactly alike.

The stoneware is substantial, chip-resistant, and intended for daily use. Dishwasher safe. Suitable for occasional microwave use and gentle reheating in the oven.

Designed and made by Will Reardon, of New York Stoneware in Bedford, NY.

This dinnerware is handmade by Will Reardon in his Bedford, New York studio, using North American clay. Rather than relying on molds, Will throws, trims, and glazes each piece by hand. Slight variations in shape, surface, and glaze tone are natural results of this process, and reflect the hand of the maker.

The same form, but never exactly.

"The plates are designed to flatter the food, with wide rims and a warm glaze." – Clare de Boer, Owner
  • One potter makes every piece

Each piece is hand thrown and shaped by Will without the use of molds. Subtle differences in form, surface, and glaze are a natural result of the making process.

  • Generous Proportions

Wide, open forms provide plenty of room for serving and presenting food. The simple shapes and restrained ivory glaze allow the food to take center stage.

  • Made for Everyday Use

Made from North American clay and fired at high temperatures, stoneware is dense, strong, and well suited to daily use. Its substantial weight and durable surface make it as practical as it is pleasing to handle.

  • Four Forms for the Table

The collection includes a Main Plate, Starter Plate, Pasta Bowl, and Cereal Bowl. Each serves a different purpose, with shared proportions, materials, and finishes that bring the pieces together as a set.
