Will works toward the same silhouette each time, shaping each curve, wall, and rim by hand. An ivory glaze then covers the dark clay, varying in appearance with its thickness and the surface beneath it.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe result is a visual tension between the goal of consistency and the natural imperfections of handwork. Slight variations in form and glaze change how each piece catches the light, giving the set table a richness that exact repetition cannot.
